The paper assesses the quality of electric power in the modern electrical networks of Russia and the status of the regulatory framework as regards the electric power quality, provides references to a successful experience of electric power quality management before the Law on Technical Regulation was passed, defines regulatory improvement proposals to create an electric power quality management system in the nearest future.
