K.S. Kuzheleva, B.A. Grachev. EU ENERGY POLICY FOR RES, ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW RESOURCE SAVING TECHNOLOGIES
This paper covers the European energy policy that focused on one single goal for many years – to ensure uninterrupted supplies of energy resources at prices affordable for all end consumers. The vector of EU common energy policy is currently aimed at creating a single Energy Union based on RES development, energy efficiency improvement and an innovative component of the European economy. Measures and initiatives implemented in this field will affect significantly the future energy development not only in individual countries, but also in the entire European conglomerate and the global community in general.
